As a new resident of Vienna, the City of Vienna offers you the free support programme StartWien.- Individual counselling and advice (Startcoaching) and
- information events on various topics (Info-Module)
The services of StartWien are available in over 20 languages.
What we do
Startcoaching – advice for a good start in Vienna
- Ask any questions you have in your first language at a free counselling session
- Information about finding a flat, employment contracts, choosing a school, the Integration Agreement and more
- Personal support in finding the right German course for you
Info-Module – Orientation lectures to help you get to know Vienna
- Free talks by experts
- Topics: Residence law, work, education, health care, housing, living together
- Lectures in over 20 languages
Learning German
- Here you can find German courses offered by course providers who have been approved by the City of Vienna.
- You can redeem the Vienna Language Voucher to the amount of EUR 150 with these course providers.
